In the framework of the EU-funded research program “One Health Basic and Translational Actions Addressing Unmet Needs on Emerging Infectious Diseases” (INF-ACT), the project (Research node 5 WP5.5 – Innovative antimicrobial materials-antibiofilm-drug delivery strategies)
“New Therapeutic Strategies”
aims to develop innovative therapeutic approaches against emerging infectious diseases through the development of functionalized photosensitizing nanoparticles and nanosystems incorporated with antimicrobial agents. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• University Degree in Biological Sciences, or in Biotechnologies or in similar topics
• PhD in Biotechnologies, or in Microbiology or in similar topics
• Well-documented experience of techniques of microbial cultivation, isolation and identification, knowledge of microbial biofilm formation
A research contract with a salary of about 1.900 net per month will be provided (Assegno di ricerca senior). The project will be carried out in close collaboration with theoreticalcomputational groups. The ability to work as a part of a diverse team and independently is important.
