IUMS 2026: Call for Abstracts Now Open for the 19th International Congress

The 19th Congress of the International Union of Microbiological Societies (IUMS) will take place from November 4–6, 2026, in the vibrant city of Lisbon, Portugal. This  event will bring together leading experts and early-career scientists from across the microbiological disciplines to share the latest advancements, foster collaborations, and shape the future of the field.

As a proud supporter of initiatives that promote international scientific dialogue, SIM – Società Italiana di Microbiologia is pleased to share that the Call for Abstracts is now officially open!

Researchers are invited to present their work in the fields of:

• Mycology

• Eukaryotic Microbiology
